Refugium

Lunz

Old meets new. At Refugium Lunz, everything is optional, not mandatory. Does that sound intriguing? Then please stay tuned, as this is one of my most extensive projects to date.

Let's start with the restaurant. You can savor the excellent cuisine in both the modern extension of the establishment (completed in 2023) or in the old dining room („Stube“) featuring original wooden beams from 1661.

The rooms were partly built within the existing structure (with balconies and terraces added) or simply inserted into a completely new building beneath the old house, complete with small gardens in front of the rooms. I can only say, one must make a choice (or stay there multiple times).

Yes, you saw it correctly - some rooms come with their own sauna, which is an unbeatable feature in Lunz am See.

Now, let's head to the basement, where the newly built rooms, the so-called 'Garden Rooms,' await.

And if you don't just want to hide away in the beautiful rooms? Then you can go hiking in Lunz, engage in sports, yoga, or relax in the sauna house, by the pool, or enjoy a coffee in the in-house lounge kitchen. Wait, why 'or'? 'And,' of course!

And because every area is designed down to the last detail, here are pictures of the elevator portals, lamps, directional signs, stairs, and public restrooms – some might think they don't need to be showcased. I say they do.
